- What information can I easily find with Automagical TeacherHelper?
Classes, students, and assignments from Google Classroom
- What tasks will Automagical TeacherHelper do for me?
Currently it can quickly reference students, assingments, create a quick quiz, and create a progress report and email it to students with a single click of a button!
- Do you store any Personal Identifiable Information (PII)?
The only information we store by default is the email address of the user. We store this encrypted with the same security used in Bitcoin. This is necessary to provide you with our apps and add-ons. We do take security very seriously and actively review our apps and add-ons to ensure your data is safe with us.
- Is this COPPA and FERPA compliant?
As former teachers FERPA and COPPA compliance is super important to us. We are fully compliant and only store the email address of users that decide to use our integration. No other Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is stored by us.
- What about your AI models, do you train on our data?
No. None of your data is used to train our AI models. There are some features which we use OpenAI APIs (currently creating a Form). OpenAI does not use the data to train their models either. Google Permissions
Automagical TeacherHelper asks for the following permissions for reasons to work as you ask it to. We do not use the information for anything else or run in the background without you asking it to.
- Connect to an external service
- This is needed for running some of our processes to create the email templates securely on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Send email as you
- This is to allow Automagical TeacherHelper to send the emails after you ask it to.
- See, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app
- This is to allow Automagical TeacherHelper to create a Google Form for you after you ask it to.
- See all classwork materials for your Google Classroom classes
- Automagical TeacherHelper needs this so it can surface information from the Google Classroom classes where you are listed as a teacher.
- Manage course work and grades for students in the Google Classroom classes you teach and view the course work and grades for classes you administer
- Automagical TeacherHelper needs this so it can surface information about the assignments for students in classes where you are listed as a teacher.
- View the email addresses of people in your classes
